What supports the delivery commitment?
Assign responsibility for machine coverage and incident support each shift. Staffing, power, floor space and transport capacity need named owners.
PRODUCTION VISIBILITY / v2.1.0
From engineering readiness to delivery commitments: inspect staffing, fixtures and complete process capability to see what supports the promised date.
01 / ENGINEERING FIRST
Sanxie: 50 machining centers. Put expertise into engineering, fixtures and standard work to reduce reliance on individual machining judgment during routine tending.
Direct tending positions per shift
10 operatorsEnter cycle times to check the ideal five-machine tending condition.
Excludes programming, setup, first-article inspection, patrol checks, maintenance, relief and supervision.10 is the calculated tending headcount, not total factory staffing.
Assign responsibility for machine coverage and incident support each shift. Staffing, power, floor space and transport capacity need named owners.
Record shifts and relief, electrical capacity, floor layout, collection frequency, incident response and alternative supply arrangements. Contracts and terms remain to be supplied.
Observe loading, walking, machine waiting, tool changes, alarms and defects continuously. Reduced dependence on individual expertise still requires training and safe operation.
02 / FIXTURE & REPEAT ORDER
This model assumes ten parts reach a common semi-finished stage: five proceed to delivery and five remain for a compatible repeat order. Confirm the actual inventory hold point on site.
Semi-finished stock available for the next order
5 partsSetup-time benefits require measurement.
Enter cost to calculate inventory commitment.
Comparison: two five-part orders, two separate batches vs. Combine common operations for ten parts. This does not assume simultaneous cutting or count the extra five as shipped.
Completed common machining and one setup may not need repeating. Remaining machining, queues, inspection and logistics still require scheduling; record each contribution to lead time separately.
Without repeat demand, or with revision risk, storage limits or fixture delays, extra semi-finished parts may become obsolete inventory.
Record setup time, machining time, yield, fixture cost, stock age, repeat-order utilization and revision write-offs. This simplified calculation excludes fixture investment and holding costs.
03 / FULL PROCESS BENCHMARK
Reference: UMIX, Japan, manufacturing automotive press dies and related components.1:1 is a target for item-by-item validation, not a verified capability claim for the China production line.
| Process / capability | UMIX Evidence scope | 1:1 Evidence to submit |
|---|---|---|
| Product and mechanism design | Press dies, Rotary Cam Mechanism [1][2] | Product families, forming objectives, mechanism calculations and design review |
| 3D CAD and data handoff | 2019 Interview records 3D CAD Apply [2] | Master model, customer revision, departmental and supplier drawing packs |
| Forming simulation | Validate forming against material and geometry [2] | conditions, predicted defects, actual tryout results and error |
| CAM / NC / machining | Public sources cannot reconstruct all proprietary machining parameters | Toolpaths, postprocessing, machine, fixture, cutting tools and first-article records |
| Assembly, die fitting and tryout | Complete steps, parameters and acceptance gates remain to be confirmed | Assembly sequence, fit checks, tryout issues and correction records |
| 3D Scan inspection | Surface-shape inspection of dies and trial parts [2] | Datums, comparison reports, deviation disposition and release approval |
| Stage-by-stage validation | Human judgment and experience-based correction [2] | Station checkpoints, incident causes, owners and revalidation |
| Training and cross-functional capability | OJT, drafting education and design/manufacturing rotation [2] | Skill matrix, training records and independent-operation qualifications |
| Outsourcing, delivery and aftersales | The complete supply-chain and acceptance workflow is not publicly verified | Supplier process packs, transport, customer acceptance and issue closure |
Hold material, geometry, tolerances, quantity and revision constant. Submit comparable evidence for each process. Do not claim equivalent capability without measurements under the same conditions.
Engineering models and process review → Verified NC / fixtures → Multi-machine tending → Common semi-finished inventory → inspection, schedule and delivery records.
Every commitment has a revision, owner and release evidence. Unconfirmed items have deadlines, making delivery confidence traceable.

The export contains tending and fixture inputs, calculations, assumptions and timestamps. Calculated values are not measured results. For measured labor comparisons, use the v2.0 record form.
v1.0.0: order risk and delivery visibility.v2.0.0: 2D / 3D / drawing handoff and before/after labor hours.v2.1.0: adds three production models and UMIX process evidence comparison. These three versions were first released together. Feature versions are tracked separately from site deployment numbers.
