APPLIED SOLUTIONS01 — 04 / SOLUTIONS
Solution briefing

See the whole project. Choose your starting point.

Explore how the four workstreams connect, then build a focused inquiry. Each briefing follows the same six decisions.

Civil sensing

Understand a civilian sensing requirement without an active transmitter.

Discuss passive sensing for civil facilities and environmental awareness. Evaluation starts with site conditions, integration requirements and measurable acceptance criteria.

Evaluation output

A proposed evaluation scope, evidence requirements and integration questions—not an untested performance promise.

1 / 6 · The need

Understand a civilian sensing requirement without an active transmitter.

Discuss passive sensing for civil facilities and environmental awareness. Evaluation starts with site conditions, integration requirements and measurable acceptance criteria.

Evaluation output

A proposed evaluation scope, evidence requirements and integration questions—not an untested performance promise.

2 / 6 · The scope

One project. Four connected workstreams.

Select a workstream to see what it contributes. These are areas for project scoping, not a claim that every capability is already qualified.

What to discuss

Site coverage and operating environment

Background noise and false-alarm tolerance

Existing monitoring interfaces

Information to prepare

Site description and permitted installation locations

Target events and environmental constraints

Required evidence and evaluation schedule

3 / 6 · The evidence

What must be established before a commitment?

Request product-specific evidence: manufacturer identity, production steps, origin documentation, test conditions and acceptance criteria. A Taiwan team or an assembly address alone does not establish component origin.

Origin & traceability

Supplier identity, bill-of-materials origin where available, manufacturing steps and production records.

Performance & conditions

Test method, configuration, environment, limitations and the date of the result.

Integration & acceptance

Interfaces, evaluation samples, acceptance criteria and responsibility for delivery.

4 / 6 · The economics

Make the cost of the next decision visible.

A useful quotation separates one-time engineering, samples, unit pricing by quantity, validation, logistics and ongoing support. Currency, exclusions and validity belong in the quotation.

01

One-time engineering & tooling

02

Samples & acceptance testing

03

Unit price × quantity / MOQ

04

Logistics, installation & support

A proposed evaluation scope, evidence requirements and integration questions—not an untested performance promise.

5 / 6 · The responsibilities

Agree who is responsible, before work starts.

01

Buyer: application, constraints and acceptance criteria.

02

Proposed supplier: evidence, scope, price and delivery commitment.

03

Operator / contracting entity: named in the quotation and agreement.

04

Website builder: digital presentation only; not the seller or manufacturer.

6 / 6 · The next step

Start with a clearly bounded evaluation.

Describe the outcome, what already exists and what needs to change. The first discussion should identify missing evidence and the next decision; it is not a purchase commitment.

Your next project starts with a better question.
