Zhilong No. 1: a firefighting collaboration
The 2023 feature describes a collaboration between Karmin and KYLINK on an unmanned firefighting craft. The accompanying award commentary highlights remote operation and a mobile control vehicle.
Read the original feature for the project history and the award commentary for the published assessment. These documents describe the project at that time.
The 2019 feature presents K112 as a multipurpose patrol craft for coastal operations. The award commentary discusses its three-layer collar, use of 3D design and CNC production, and patrol and rescue roles.
The paired documents preserve the published description and the award assessment of this vessel.
Taiwan’s Coast Guard records a joint ceremony held on 6 December 2019 for the naming and delivery of several vessels. The report identifies Karmin’s general manager among the participants and links to the official event video.
This is a supplementary official record. It does not establish that every vessel in the ceremony was built by Karmin.
